Website and hosting

Hosting and email are provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IP addresses, access times, requested pages, browser and device data are processed to provide and secure the website (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

IONOS describes its cookie-free visitor statistics as anonymised upon collection, retained for eight weeks and without transfers to third countries. IONOS privacy information. We do not use advertising cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may support sign-in and security (Section 25(2) TDDDG).

Enquiries and recruitment

Selecting “Send enquiry” sends your details to us by email through IONOS. The contact form does not create an additional candidate database. Short-lived technical checks prevent spam and duplicate sending (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use contact details, professional skills, preferences and messages to respond and take steps towards an agreed recruitment service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for business contacts based on our legitimate interest in business communication (Article 6(1)(f)). Profiles are introduced to a company only after prior agreement. IONOS and the email providers involved receive the necessary data. Providing information is voluntary; we cannot reply without contact details. Please do not initially send identity documents or health information.

Accounts, profiles and documents

For your optional account, we store your name, email address, hashed password and profile details in the WordPress database at IONOS. Uploaded documents are additionally encrypted. You and authorised Global Job Experten administrators can access them; other candidates and employers cannot. Password and account links are sent by email. Processing supports the agreed contact and recruitment service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); security checks serve our legitimate interest in protecting data (Article 6(1)(f)). Sign-in requires strictly necessary cookies. You can correct your profile, delete documents and withdraw enquiries; access to and deletion of other data can be requested by email.

Retention and rights

We delete enquiries when their purpose ends, generally no later than six months after an unsuccessful recruitment enquiry is closed, unless agreed ongoing support, legal defence or statutory retention requirements apply. Profiles, documents and accounts that are no longer needed are deleted accordingly. Longer-term inclusion in a candidate pool requires a separate agreement.

Where the legal conditions apply, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation and withdraw consent for the future. Contact us using the details above. You may also complain, particularly to the Berlin data protection authority. We do not make solely automated decisions about hiring or recruitment.
